SCHOOL PRAYER
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done On earth as it is in Heaven Give us this day our daily bread Forgive us our trespasses As w e forgive those w ho trespass against us, Lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. Amen
PRAYER BEFORE CLASS
O My God we are about to begin our lessons for the love of Thee, grant us we beseech Thee, Thy blessings.
PRAYER AFTER CLASS
O my God ! I sincerely thank Thee-for all the benefits, specially for having helped me, in my studies today. I thank thee, also for having preserved me, from harm and danger. Forgive me, if I have failed in my duties - or in any way displeased thee. Bless me always, bless my parents, brothers, sisters, relatives, friends, my teachers & benefactors, who by their love, help and sacrifice, make my life happy, and bless my country too.
SCHOOL ENDING PRAYER
Thank you/loving father/for what I have learnt/ during this day, for the kindness and care/that I have experienced/ from my teachers and friends. Help me through the rest of the day/in sharing this love with others/doing good and shunning evil/at the same time/ being honest with my duties/as a student/and as a child. Amen.
A STUDENT’S PRAYER BEFORE EXAMINATION
O ! G o d , our loving Father, on this d ay o f Examination, w e seek your special help, so that, we have a good power to recall to memory, all that, we have studied, and thus be able to answer w ell, all the questions. Above all, please give us the gift of your wisdom, that we may always value, eternal gifts of Heaven, rather than passing pleasure in this life.
